Investigations Of Murder Of   Buganda Clan Head Takes New Twist After Evidence Reveals Top Kingdom Officials Shared Shs20m Bribe, To Help Fugitive Tabula Win Battle With Late.

The Investigator of who murdered the head of Endiga (Sheep) clan are facing a strange situation to dig deeper into what was the motive of the killers. Everyone was shocked after the arrest of Milly Naluwenda the Clerk to Buganda Kingdom Cultural Court (Kkooti ya Kisekwa) in connection to the gruesome assassination of Eng. Daniel Bbosa Lwomwa has revealed new evidence.

Naluwenda was arrested because of her frequent communication with the deceased and Tabula Lugya Bbosa the suspected master planner of the crime.

Highly placed sources in the security circles familiar with the ongoing investigations revealed to us as  TV10GanoMazima that detectives and operatives from both Brig. Gen. Christopher Sserunjogi Ddamulira’s Crime Intelligence and Maj. Dr. Tom Magambo’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) who are leading the investigations into the assassination of Bbosa disclosed that it was establish that Naluwenda was the last person to talk to deceased before he was assassinated.

Detectives further established that before talking to Bbosa on phone, Naluwenda also talked to Tabula a few minutes later. Tabula is currently on the run and police has placed a Shs20m bounty on his head.

Sources said that Naluwenda confirmed that she talked to both people but their discussion centered around Lwomwa’s appeal before Ssabasajja Ronald Muwenda Mutebi the Kabaka of Buganda who is the supreme court when it comes to disagreements on who should be the clan head in Buganda.

In 2022, Bossa lost the case as head of Endiga clan in Kkooti ya kisekwa and he decided to appeal to Kabaka Mutebi to overturn the lower court’s decision which he had not yet done by the time of his death.

Security sources disclosed that they have received information that after losing the case, Lwomwa was approached by a top minister in Kabaka Mutebi’s cabinet who asked him for a bribe of Shs20m to help him remain the clan head and immediately after giving out the money, he was appointed a treasurer on the Buganda Kingdom clan head council of executive.

“Very soon, that minister is going to be summoned to help us with the ongoing investigation. He will help us to know how the money was shared,” one of the detectives said.

During the course of investigating this story, a member of Kisekwa court confirmed the allegations and further explained how they were summoned by one of the Kingdom officials who grilled them concerning their decision of letting a powerful businessman like Lwomwa to lose a case against a lumpen like Tabula.

Sources added that Naluwenda was soliciting for bribe from both Bossa and Tabula during the hearing of their case, and promising to help them win by compromising the judges since they all respect her advice.

Sources said that Tabula even promised to give Naluwenda two cows once she helps him to win the case. However, when he won the case, he refused to fulfill his promise to Naluwenda and instead told her that he will double the cows when he wins the appeal.

Sources said that Naluwenda promised Tabula that she will alter the facts on the records which will be forwarded to Kabaka. Surprisingly, she also promised Lwomwa the same thing and he paid her in cash.

However, the investigators told TV10GanoMazima that because top Buganda Kingdom officials intervened in the matter, Tabula lost hope of winning the case and resorted to plans of assassinating his competitor.

Tabula, a suspected army deserter, decided to train his adopted son Derrick Noah Luggya and Emmanuel Sserukuma who is also a clan-mate to execute his mission.

Lwomwa was assassinated in February 2024 at Lungujja near his home. Five suspects including Naluwenda and Luggya who allegedly pulled the trigger have been charged with murder and remanded to Luzira prison.

SUSPECTS OF LWOMWA MUDER PARADED BEFORE COURT

Emmanuel Sserukuma who was riding the motorcycle used to execute the mission was killed by a mob at Bulange in Lubaga Division.

Buganda Premier Charlse Peter Mayiga threatened to take serious action against Kingdom officials who are involved in corruption activities.
