Today the 30th – March – 2024, the Katonga faction of The Forum For Democratic Change held another consultative meeting with different leaders from Busoga region on whether they should go a head and register another party.
The leader of the faction. Dr. Kizzza Besigye started with an Interview on Busoga one Radio before they all set-out to meet other leaders who were waiting for them at Mpumudde Primary School in Jinja.
As usual, the police tried to block this meeting, but they later allowed the Katonga FDC leaders and other their counterparts from Busoga region to have the meeting and the meeting started at around 2 Pm.
The leaders in this region also unanimously resolved that another party should be formed, adding their voice to the resolution that was made by the leaders of Kampala Metropolitan who also agreed that a new party should be formed.
