UPDF : Gen. Mbadi Has Officially Handed Over Office To Gen. Muhoozi.

Gen. Wilson Mbadi has today officially handed over the office of the Chief Of Defence Forces (CDF), a position he has held since June 2021.

The Incumbent CDF assumed office in the presence of Gen. Saleh, the now Minister of State for trade, industry and cooperatives. and other senior army official.

Gen. Mbadi handed over the official instrument of power which is the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) Establishment 2021 to Muhoozi, an instrument that will guide him in this new role of CDF.

This instrument has a structured formular on how to plan, deploy, train, promote, administer and command the army.
