Red Eye disease breaks out in Kampala.

There’s an outbreak of conjunctivitis (Red Eye) disease in Kampala especially in schools in this capital city, and all schools and the general public have been urged to take precaution measures.

According to the directorate of Public Health and Environment Kampala Capital City Authority, cases of the disease have already been reported in some city schools and Education institutions. 

Reacting on the information ,KCCA Education and Social services directorate ordered all schools in the city to reactivate precaution measures including hand washing, avoiding shaking hands, wearing masks and avoiding unnecessary visits at schools.
