There is a silent rooming deal in the NRM ruling party of creating an opposition within it’s self with the aim of stopping or putting other opposition parties on halt.
All this came about after the president decided to allow his son Muhoozi Kainerugaba publicly declared his presidential bid come 2026 under his new political party the Patriotic League of Uganda .
Most of the citizens were asking themselves why some of president Museveni’s ministers are now following the son and yet most these ministers and other people are Museven’s loyalties.
This has been confusing most Ugandans and making them to start posing questions that still have no answers, but TV 10 has come to note that this team of ministers and other politicians follow the orders of the president and therefore the president could have sent them to make the son go a head with his political ideas.
All this is planned against the success of other opposition Political parties like NUP, FDC,DP and so many others. As of now, the Leader of opposition currently is Joel Ssenyonyi the NUP representative for Nakawa West constituency, but the goal is to have NRM take over this position.
This means that if the presidential seat is taken by the patriotic league of Uganda the NRM will be with the highest number of MP’s in Parliament and will automatically also take over the position of the leader of opposition.
This is intended to wipe out the real opposition from parliament and we all no that it is close to impossible to win the presidential seat with out having the largest number of MP’s in parliament.
This parliament of the year 2021-2026 has 557 members from 135 districts, with the highest number of MP’s being for NRM followed by NUP.
If the number of the MP’s on the NRM ticket is still high by 2026, NRM is likely to also lead the opposition.
This means that kyagulanyi’s Presidency will be determined in 2031 because as of now ,the 2026 winner is said to have been declared as Muhoozi because of his fathers influence of changing the hearts and mindsets of his people. Remember that the Electoral Commission also operates under his fathers command. because it works under his command.
As the opposition parties continue setting up kyagulanyi’s presidency come 2026, they have to realize the fact that it might be hard for him to win the presidency because of the few members of parliament from his party.
This is not because he doesn’t have support from the ground, it is due to the selfish and dictatorial conduct in the current government that wants every thing in its hands and control.
