NAMIBIAN PRESIDENT DIES AT 82: Presidential Transition Underway.

Namibian President Hage Geingob passed away at the age of 82, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and dedication to his Country. As the nation mourns the loss of a great leader, the focus now shifts to the presidential transition process.

President Geingob was born on August 3, 1936, in Otjiwarongo, Namibia. He was a prominent figure in the liberation struggle against apartheid in South-West Africa, which eventually led to the independence of Namibia in 1990. President Geingob held various high-level positions in the Namibian Government before being elected as President in 2014.

During his time in office, President Geingob implemented progressive policies aimed at improving the lives of all Namibians. He was a strong advocate for Social justice, economic development, and good governance. Under his leadership, Namibia made significant strides in areas such as healthcare, education and infrastructure development.

The Presidential transition process is currently underway, with the Government working to ensure a smooth handover of power. This is a crucial time for Namibia as the Country looks towards the future and the next chapter in it’s political history.
