HEALTH: Vaccination Against Yellow Fever.

The Ministry of Health is currently undertaking a yellow fever vaccination campaign which is targeting people between the ages of 1 – 60 years.

The campaign has started today and it is expected to run up-to 8th April 2024.

You can all get your jab at the nearest government health facility in your locality.

Today, health workers have camped at Kyambogo College to vaccinate students against this fever and many students were able to get their jabs .

Yellow fever is caused by a virus carried by mosquitoes. You can develop this disease if you are bitten by a mosquito infected with this virus. This disease is common in South America and in sub-Saharan Africa.

So we encourage you all to go and get this jab so that you can protect your self against this fever. The vaccination is free of charge.
