Matha Karua the former Kenyan minister for Justice is set to fight with Uganda government on issues of Dr. Besigye’s abduction.
According to Karua it’s said that Dr. Besigye was abducted together with his political friend Hajji Obed Lutale by Ugandan security in Kenya after days ago.
And they were tortured, and brought back to Uganda military court martial since they were remanded to Luzira prison.
The military court martial remanded them to luzira prison on charges as indicated in the charge sheet bellow.
Matha says that it’s unlawful a Ugandan security operatives to arrest suspects in Kenya, “injustice must be fought university” Karua said.
She confirmed through TV10 ganomazima media sources that her application to the Uganda law council for a temporary permit to represent Kiza Besigye in the military court martial of Uganda.
As senior council she intendeds to lead other Ugandans learned friends like Lord mayor Erias Lukwago and other 48 Ugandan senior councils to defend Kiza Besigye against persecution.
Besigye and his political friend Hajji Obed Lutale were on a visit in Kenya on an invitation of matha Karua to attend a book launch event.
Karua is a close friend to Besigye politically especially in opposition politics of Kenya and Uganda.
Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago also Counsel to Dr. Kizza Besigye and Hajji Obeid Lutale, was blocked and denied access to his Clients at Luzira Prison.
Lukwago told Journalists in that The Assistant Commissioner of Prisons after making frantic calls seeking clearance confirmed that access has been denied.
He was accompanied by political allies Wafula Oguttu, Munyagwa Mubarak and others.
Dr. Kizza Besigye and Hajji Obeid Lutale are due to appear before the Military tribunal at Makindye on 2nd December 2024.
